Titus Andronicus - Mass Transit Madness

Titus Andronicus - You Got To Walk That Lonesome Valley

Titus Andronicus are this week’s special guest in The Moonshine Sessions.... Charismatic band leader Patrick Stickles came in to see us and play their new song ‘Mass Transit Madness (Goin’ Loco’)’ and a bellowing cover of famed blues singer Mississippi John Hurt’s ‘You Got To Walk That Lonesome Valley’.

Formed in 2005, Titus Andronicus take their title from the first tragedy to be penned by William Shakespeare, bridging the gap between punk and indie rock. Their debut LP ‘The Airing Of Grievances’ was released three years late to great acclaim from many quarters of the music press. Further titles showed the great creative powers of the New Jersey band including ‘The Monitor’ which was somewhat of a concept album investigating the American Civil War and their latest LP‘A Productive Cough’ which saw them take a more mellow approach compared to their previous material.
